We always wish for all kind of “MANGAL” i.e. wish, everything auspicious happens in life.

We also call Lord Shri Hari as Mangalaytan..Mangalayatanohari. Whenever we pray to Maa Bhagwati we chant this shloka.

सर्वमङ्गलमाङ्गल्ये शिवे सर्वार्थसाधिके ।
शरण्ये त्र्यम्बके गौरि नारायणि नमोऽस्तु ते ॥

Mangalya means may our life be always dynamic, not only that may our life always ascend upward thereby always prosper and develop. In this journey of Life whether it may be a male or female, both need a partner encouraging them to enter Grihasthashram that means they take vows, promises in witness of Agni, Priest (Gour Maharaj), respective Parents, Relatives, Friends, community and marry each other. During exchanging vows of marriage their hearts unite to become one, their goals of life become one and they make combined efforts for “Mangalya” of their life.
